Advanced AromaReflex

AromaReflex is a wonderful treatment. It combines the benefits of a reflexology treatment with the therapeutic properties of aromatherapy essential oils.

I use specifically selected essential oils to create an individualised AromaReflex blend tailored to your own requirements. This cream or wax is then used in your reflexology treatment; you will then take the rest of the blend home with you for daily use, so that you can carry on receiving the therapeutic benefits.

I am insured to use 40 different essential oils and use only certified natural ingredients from reputable retailers only.

Other options are available. Depending on your preference you may wish to take the blend home as part of your aftercare between appointments in the form of a cream, balm, rollette, inhaler or foot spritz.

Qualifications & Training

I was trained by the Gaia School of Natural Health in both AromaReflex and Advanced AromaReflex and am insured to work with 40 different essential oils.

Aromatherapy Full Body Massage

For this soothing aromatherapeutic massage, rather than using a pre-blended

product, a bespoke blend of pure essential oils and base (carrier) oils,

will be specifically selected for you. The formulated blend will be created

for you on the day of your treatment for use in your massage.

Working in harmony with the senses, this therapeutic holistic massage

incorporates a variety of techniques and pressures; it promotes a deep

sense of relaxation, helping to relieve any tension in the body, whilst

also improving circulation.

Essential oils are highly concentrated extracts of various parts of plants, including flowers, leaves, roots, peel, resin, and bark etc. They are obtained by distillation, cold pressing, or occasionally by solvent extraction, and when extracted they contain a high concentration of the healing properties of the plant, which when used in a massage can deliver those healing properties to us via the skin.

Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD)

RLD helps those with inflammation in the body. It helps to reduce swelling by creating space for the excess lymph to go, encouraging it to ‘re-route’.

RLD is an award-winning reflexology treatment which follows the theory behind Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), however, instead of working on the body, it is performed entirely on the feet.

When there is swelling in the legs or arms, you have the option of being measured before and after each treatment. Measurements follow the Limb Volume Circumferential Measurement Protocol (LVCM) to calculate limb volume. Comparison of the before and after calculations confirm the effectiveness of the RLD treatment.

For more information about the particular benefits of RLD, and how it may help you please visit: Reflexology Lymph Drainage

RLD is not suitable for those with:

  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
  • Kidney failure
  • Cellulitis
  • Undiagnosed swelling
  • Unstable heart conditions

Advanced Facial Reflexology

This beautifully soothing treatment is the ultimate in relaxation! It uses the same principles as a treatment on the feet or hands, and provides the same benefits, however it also has the additional benefit of giving you a smoother, healthier, more radiant complexion. The application of gentle pressure to the reflex points on the face, stimulates blood flow and circulation, which encourage lymph drainage, resulting in improved radiance to the skin. Also, by relieving muscle tension in the face, it can provide a softer, more youthful appearance.

Facial reflexology is also perfect for those who would like the benefits of a reflexology treatment but who are reluctant to have their feet or hands worked on.

Because the treatment involves working close to the brain, it encourages deep relaxation and provides visible results.

Facial Reflexology can:

- help to relieve congested sinuses

- relax muscles in the face; tense muscles in this area can lead to headaches, migraines, bruxism (teeth grinding), and TMJ problems

- encourage lymph drainage

- encourage the elimination of toxins

- improve skin tone and texture by increasing blood flow and

circulation to the facial area

Facial reflexology is a wonderful way to achieve a radiant glow and healthier skin.

Zone Facelift

Zone Face (ZFL) Lift is an innovative facial treatment designed to help you age well naturally by avoiding the need for Botox and offers a natural alternative to dermal fillers.

It is a bespoke treatment that combines the health benefits of facial reflexology, along with the beauty benefits obtained from a facial.

ZFL is an incredible treatment, not only is it deeply relaxing, but it is also the most natural non-invasive treatment you are likely to experience, helping your skin to naturally age well,

In her ‘Get the Gloss’ article, leading journalist Sarah Vine described the treatment as ‘a contender for London’s best facial treatment’, and Tatler described the ZFL as ‘extraordinary’ saying ‘Ziggie swears it’s an alternative to injectables – we agree’, while Hip and Healthy described the treatment as ‘An all-natural alternative to Botox with internal benefits to boot.’

The protocol uses a combination of the sculpting and lifting effects of Japanese Gua Sha and Facial Reflexology techniques, along with Native American ancient healing routines and philosophies. These techniques, combined with the soothing effects of Rose Quartz and the powerful cleansing properties of Black Obsidian stone and Japanese Gua Sha, provide a deeply healing and sensual experience which helps to ease the stress and strains of daily life. Whilst doing this, the treatment also lifts the subcutaneous tissues of the face to increase blood flow and leaves a lovely radiant tone.

A ZFL treatment can be provided as a one-off treatment for a special event, or as just a well-earned treat. Alternatively, if you would like to maximise the benefits, you may wish to invest in a package of 6 or 12 treatments, which include a discount on the cost of individual sessions.

Menopause: Facial, Hand & Foot Reflexology

Reflexology for Menopause is a unique nurturing treatment, in that it combines reflexology on the face, feet, and hands. It aims to free energies along the zones from the face and hands to the feet, and focuses on the main reflexes for common peri, menopause, and post-menopausal symptoms such as:

⦁ hot flushes

⦁ night sweats

⦁ tiredness

⦁ depression

⦁ weight gain

⦁ anxiety

Whilst some women are happy to take medication such as HRT, others prefer to take the holistic therapy route.

This treatment aims to reduce the symptoms on not just a physical level, but on an emotional and energetic level too. It includes protocols that get results quickly, including advice on the latest research into menopause, advice on diet, exercise and skincare, and balancing hormones naturally. It also includes tips about how to. Naturally reduce symptoms.

Interestingly, there are notable differences in the way women from other cultures experience menopause. For example, in Japan, women complain of very few menopausal symptoms and in fact, don’t even have a word for hot flushes.

Qualifications and training

For this course I was trained by Louise Keet of the London School of Reflexology, who has been described by the Mail on Sunday as ‘Britains leading Reflexologist’. Louise has published three books, including the Reflexology Bible, which has been published in over twenty languages and is described as the definitive guide to Reflexology.

I am fully insured with Alan Boswell to perform this treatment.

Indian Head Massage

Traditional Indian Head Massage (IHM) is an ancient complimentary therapy, based on the Hindu Ayurvedic system of healing. Also known as champissage, IHM has been practiced for thousands of years and involves massage to the head, face, neck, upper back, shoulders, arms, and hands.

The treatment releases built-up tension in the head and neck area and relieves muscle stiffness. This gentle form of massage, which includes a variety of pressures and techniques, is a must have treatment for those who suffer with tension, headaches and poor sleep.

Performed either with, or without oils, a fragrant, blend of essential oils can enhance the experience if preferred. The treatment can also be carried out while you are seated or laid down (supine).

For your comfort during your treatment, you should wear loose-fitting clothing and preferable not too many layers.
